Suzy has been helping clients in her private practice at The Estuary since 2001. Her spiritual values and interests led her to pursue post-graduate work at Vanderbilt Divinity School. A strong advocate for women and children, Suzy has served as Board President for CASA (Court Apointed Special Advocate). Her interest and experience in the peaceful resolution of family transitions led her to become a trained Family Mediator. Since 2004, Suzy has served as an educator for The School of Healing Arts.
It is Suzy's wish to welcome and respect each individual with whom she works. She does this by providing a safe and non-judgemental space for each client. She accomplishes this through a combination of talk therapy modalities and, if desired, "hands on" energy therapies. Suzy's treatment orientations include:
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Suzy works with couples and adult individuals as well as adolescents/young adults (ages 15-19). She has experience in the following areas:
food/eating and body issues
lack of purpose
