Somatic Breathwork

Saturday, 10/19/24

10am - 11:15am

Somatic Breathwork is a powerful embodiment experience that uses circular breathing techniques to help to release stress, trauma, and stored emotions from the body. This is an integrative practice that takes us out of our thinking minds and into our nervous system to help awaken and strengthen the connection between our mind, body, and spirit so that we may live a more aligned life.

This class will consist of a brief grounding meditation, 45 minutes of breathwork, and a few minutes for journaling and integration to close.

While this form of breathwork can be intense in nature, participants are encouraged to find a pace that works best for them.

What to bring

  • Bring a yoga mat, water, journal, and pen.

  • Wear comfortable clothing.

  • We will be lying down on mats for the majority of class, so if you need a bolster or blanket to be more comfortable, you are welcome to bring that along with you as well.
